Coordinator of Religious Education (CRE) – Protestant Chapel Camp Foster, Okinawa
Plan and lead religious education programs for children, youth, and adults at the Protestant Chapel on Camp Foster.
Description
Support the Protestant Chapel at Camp Foster by planning and leading religious education programs for children, youth, and adults. This is a part-time position (20 hours per week).
Eligibility
American citizens, U.S. military dependents, Japanese nationals, and valid visa holders are welcome to apply.
Key Duties
- Lead Sunday School, Bible study, and seasonal Protestant programs
- Coordinate volunteers, materials, and classroom setup
- Work directly with the Protestant Chaplain and chapel staff
- Comply with U.S. military child safety requirements
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year Protestant experience
- High school diploma or GED required
- Strong English communication and classroom management skills
