Supply Technician
Process incoming supply requests, maintain filing systems, update databases, and validate purchases using systems like GCSS-MC and GCPC.
You will serve as a Supply Technician at the Marine Depot Maintenance Command.
Responsibilities
You will be receiving, examining, and verifying all incoming supply requests to determine course of action for processing; i.e. Global Combat Support System - Marine Corps (GCSS-MC), NAVSUP FORM 1250, Government Commercial Purchase card (GCPC).
You will maintain filing system for all supply records to include Supply System requirements, local purchases, open market contracts and other files as required or directed.
You will update databases with current and valid information required for trend analysis and operational requirements.
You will validate and allocate GCPC purchases via Citi-Bank at the end of each monthβs billing cycle.
You will maintain database monitoring outstanding requirements and initiating follow-ups consistent with policies.
Requirements
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Provide assistance in receiving, examining, and verifying incoming supply requests to determine course of action; process supply requirements; process local purchases via the GCPC program; utilize automated supply applications (e.g. GCSSMC, U.S. Federal Logistics Data (FEDLOG), Supply Discrepancy Report (SDR), Regional Hazardous Inventory Control System (RHICS).
