Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is looking for the best and brightest to join our Team! MCCS is a comprehensive program that supports and enhances the quality of life for Marines, their families, and others in the Marine Corps Community. As a service-oriented organization, we never waver in our commitment to our Corps. This position is located at MCAS Futenma. Candidates selected for this position will serve as a Complex Manager.

Major Duties

Ensures the Daily Activities Report (DAR) is completed in accordance with established policies and submitted to the Accounting Management Office (AMO). Ensures accurate daily deposits of the activities cash receipts are made to the military-banking facility. Resolves and/or elevates customer complaints. Provides feedback to the Assistant Athletic Director on customer inquiries into expendable equipment and retail product assortment. Prepares, collects, reviews and submits reports and conducts inventories and checklists as required to support front-line operations. Ensures team is properly trained in cash handling procedures to include RecTrac operations. Maintains appropriate supply levels (retail items, cleaning supplies, and expendable property) to support operations through expendables, Government Supply Agency (GSA), local business, online vendors, and organizational supply sources.

Provides World Class Customer Service with an emphasis on courtesy. Assists customers and communicates positively in a friendly manner. Takes action to solve problems quickly. Alerts the higher-level supervisor, or proper point of contact for help when problems arise. Adheres to safety regulations and standards. Promptly reports any observed workplace hazards, and any injury, occupational illness, and/or property damage resulting from workplace mishaps to the immediate supervisor. Adheres to established standards of actively supporting the principles of the EEO program and prevention of sexual harassment.

Develops and ensures implementation of an activity safety program in accordance with the Base Safety Program. Conducts safety meetings at least quarterly. Advises employees of available safety regulations, instructions, materials and equipment. Promptly reports workplace accidents to the Human Resources Office. Ensures safety training is provided to employees. Complies with OSHA standards and takes action to correct unsafe or unhealthy working conditions. Ensures employees understand safety infractions that can result in disciplinary actions, and follows through with appropriate action. Ensures minimal loss of duty by complying with Return To Work program initiatives, and following up on employee wellbeing.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

Three years of general work experience, that demonstrates knowledge of practical business management such as property control, cash handling, inventory, retail management, and basic computer skills. Or a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in the field of general recreation, or related field.

Experience in successfully leading a large and diverse workforce.

Must complete Cash Handling Training Course before handling fund and Refresher Course once per year.

Must be able to accommodate a flexible work schedule to include weekends, holidays and night time.

A valid Government Owned Vehicle (GOV) operator's permit is required for the performance of duties for this position. Inability to obtain or maintain appropriate GOV licensing may result in termination for lack of qualifications. The incumbent is required to obtain required GOV licenses within 30 days of hire.

Knowledge of fitness center, recreational and athletic operations, processes and procedures, and utilizing recreational program resources.

Knowledge of recreational safety concepts and procedures.

Ability to work with others within a broad range of environmental and physical conditions.

Must have or be able to obtain CPR/First Aid/AED certification.

Employees hired into this position are required to complete the Blood and Body Fluids (BBF) medical certification within 60 days of their start date. This post-hire certification ensures compliance with Occupational Health guidelines and supports safe operational readiness for duties involving potential exposure risks.
