【Okinawa/Main Office】Project Coordinator (Maintenance Section)
Coordinate with stakeholders, manage site safety, and support craftsmen for maintenance and construction projects at U.S. military bases in Okinawa.
Job description
You will be responsible for coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, managing site safety, and supporting onsite craftsmen at various locations within U.S. military bases, such as school facilities and commissaries.
The specific job responsibilities are as follows:
- Interpreting and translating on-site or in the office (Japanese ⇔ English)
- Handling phone calls and emails from U.S. military personnel and subcontractors (in Japanese and English)
- Supporting onsite technicians (Japanese and foreign nationals)
- Assisting with scheduling and progress management for minor repairs and renovations (in Japanese and English)
- Arranging necessary materials and supplies
- Performing other related tasks as needed

Work location
Ginowan City, Okinawa
*Work location may change due to personnel changes such as reassignment, transfer, and secondment.
Working hours
8:00–17:00 (1 hour lunch break)
**There might be some overtime work
Holidays
Saturdays, Sundays, other days as specified by the company (124 non-working days per year)
**10 days of annual leave will be provided when 6 months of service is completed.
Requirements
Required skills and experience
- Basic Computer Skills (Microsoft Office)
- Some experience as a site coordinator is desirable
Required license
- Japanese Driver's License
- Business level English (conversation, reading and writing)
- Fluent Japanese language skills at a business level are desirable, but applications from candidates with proficiency below that level are also welcome
- Legal resident of Japan (Resident / Work visa)
Benefits
Salary
200,000–270,000 JPY per month
*Salary is determined by skills and experience
Qualification allowance
5,000–50,000 JPY (Depends on the type of license/qualification)
TOEIC scored over 900: 10,000 yen (Non-native English speaker only)
JLPT N1 holder: 10,000 yen
*If you have valid Japanese government issued licenses, such as Denki Kojishi (Electrician) and Haikan Gijyutsusya (Plumbing Engineer) etc., qualified for the allowance
Commuting allowance
Applicable when one-way distance is over 2 km (Up to 30,000 JPY per month)
**Free parking lot is available
Bonus
Twice a year (July and December)
Base salary x 2.0 total (Results from previous year is 3.0)
Pay raise
Once a year (Spring)
Retirement bonus
Applicable to join the system when an employee reaches 1 year of service
