International Middle Years Curriculum Mathematics Teacher
Responsibilities
- Teach mathematics classes to learners aged between 11-14 following our Singapore Mathematics-IMYC aligned curriculum
- Effectively plan out units of work in a timely manner
- Teach that knowledge, skills and understanding are of equal value and essential for growth in learning
- Promote a growth mindset, International Mindedness and Global Competency to the learners
- Embed the school’s personal learning goals into their lessons
- Regularly assess learners ongoing performance level for growth and development alongside the mathematics learning goals
- Organise mathematics materials and resources which are age appropriate
- Use a variety of activities and instructional methods to motivate and stimulate children’s abilities
- Collaborate with other colleagues with respect
- Maintain an open line of communication with families and provide regular educational updates on how learners are progressing
- Follow and comply with the teaching expectations and safety regulations of the school

Requirements
Qualifications
- BA in Mathematics (or other maths-related degree)
- A valid teacher qualification/certification
- Proficient in English
- Previous experience with the IMYC curriculum is welcome but not required
