Office Automation Assistant
The U.S. Marine Corps seeks an Office Automation Assistant to provide administrative support services at Camp Foster, Japan. Duties include data entry, document processing, and managing communications.
You will provide administrative services including a variety of clerical and administrative duties which are auxiliary to the work of the organization.
You will routinely copy, scan, edit, revise, retrieve, store, and print a wide range of documents in final form from handwritten drafts, from rough draft, revised typed draft, or routine correspondence without a draft.
You will input data into various word processing programs in order to create orders and bulletins from handwritten rough draft.
You will receive visitor and telephone calls, determine the nature of requests, and direct callers to appropriate staff.
You will assist in posting files to the S-1 webpage.
Requirements
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: performing office automation work, including word processing, and a variety of clerical functions in support of an organization's mission.
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with 4 years of education above high school.
