This position is located at Camp Foster (Ocean Breeze). Candidates selected for this position will serve as a Club Operations Shift Leader.
Major Duties
Monitors operations of a club or assigned club area in absence of the club management including night time and/or on weekends. Responsible for the issue, receipt, and control of cash. Prepares reports of significant occurrences during the shift. Assures patron satisfaction by resolving complaints and other customer issues. May oversee the work of lower-graded club security staff.
Inspects and secures facility at the end of the shift. Maintains and enforces security for funds, merchandise, supplies, equipment, and property in accordance with directives and regulations. Must be alert to alcohol abuse and take appropriate action.
Provides World Class Customer Service with an emphasis on courtesy. Assists customers and communicates positively in a friendly manner. Takes action to solve problems quickly. Alerts the higher-level supervisor, or proper point of contact for help when problems arise. Adheres to safety regulations and standards. Promptly reports any observed workplace hazards, and any injury, occupational illness, and/or property damage resulting from workplace mishaps to the immediate supervisor. Adheres to established standards of actively supporting the principles of the EEO program and prevention of sexual harassment.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements
Must be at least 20 years of age AND have graduated from high school or been awarded a certificate equivalent to graduating from high school. (Valid documentation will be required upon hire)
A minimum of one year experience supervising operation of a club, restaurant, business operation, or equivalent leadership experience including providing work direction to other employees.
Must have completed or be able to complete Controlling Alcohol Risks Effectively (C.A.R.E) training to assure serving alcohol responsibility, and Sanitation Training.
Must have knowledge of basic math and must complete Cash Handling Training Course before handling fund and Refresher Course once per year.
Working knowledge in Microsoft Programs such as Word, Excel, etc.
Excellent customer service skills and good communication skills orally and in writing.
Prior to employment, must successfully complete background checks.
Must be able to accommodate a flexible work schedule to include weekends, holidays and night time.
Must be able to perform prolonged standing, walking, reaching, and lifting.

Military Spouse Preference (MSP)

May be exercised once per permanent relocation (PCS), when appointed to a regular full or part time position.
Per DoDI 1400.25, volume 315, Enclosure 3, para 2.h.1, MSP eligibility terminates upon acceptance or refusal of an offer of a continuing position (part-time or full-time) in the federal service for which the spouse has registered for employment, whether or not preference was applied.
Applicants hired into flexible positions (0-40 hours per week) or regular position with a time-limited appointment will not lose their spouse preference eligibility until movement or hired into a regular full or part time position.
